Offering a Helping Hand
Jobs Partnership is a 12-week Biblically based study, to instruct students on various topics needed to help improve their personal life and workplace performance. To see hearts and attitudes change towards life, others and work thereby having a firm foundation on which to build a successful future. Jobs Partnership addresses the root causes of unemployment by uniting churches, community organizations and businesses by facilitating positive transformation within the lives of our communities.
The goal is to provide a program that targets the unemployed and underemployed in local communities and neighborhoods, and individuals who are transitioning out of incarceration. To provide participants a clear direction of where they want to end up and a job they can look forward to.
Jobs Partnership training program was brought to Peoria in 2000 from Raleigh, NC through the efforts of Heaven's View Fellowship Church. It has expanded to Bloomington-Normal, many county jails, several state prisions and the Federal prison in Pekin, Illinois.
